Background

Having grown up with a German speaking Belgian mother and a Spanish father I learned to switch between languages and cultures from a very early age. I can remember large family reunions where five different languages were being spoken around the table.

I feel fortunate to have been exposed to multilingualism since my early childhood. It is the source of the passion for words and languages that underlies my work.

I further honed my skills during a number of trips and stays abroad before completing two University degrees, one in interpretation and one in translation, at the University of Applied Sciences in Cologne, Germany.

The languages I love and that I am proficient working in are German, French, English and Spanish.
